Liverpool

Liverpool are still looking for players to strengthen their squad for the rest of the season. And with Sofyan Amrabat supposedly leaving Galatasaray, the Reds are said to be taking a serious look at the defender. A source tells the Liverpool Echo that the club has made it known they are interested in signing him.

Sofyan Amrabat

Liverpool are said to be very serious about signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. According to sources, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has begun talks with Amrabat’s representatives and he is eager to sign the Moroccan World Cup midfielder.

Amrabat, who is a member of the Morocco national team, has attracted interest from several top European clubs. His performances in the World Cup in Qatar were incredibly impressive. He was a key player in Morocco’s run to the semi-finals and he played a vital role in their historic win against Belgium.

There are still a number of European teams interested in Amrabat, including Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and even Atletico Madrid. However, Liverpool are reportedly leading the chase.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have made a bid of PS35 million for the Moroccan midfielder. This could prove to be enough to convince Fiorentina to sell.

Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey

The 23-year-old French defender Sacha Boey has been linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid. But if they are to sign him, he will have to get a new contract with Galatasaray.

Crystal Palace have reportedly been interested in signing him, but have so far been unsuccessful. They are also looking to replace Joel Ward, who is on the way out of his career, and Nathaniel Clyne.

However, it is believed that Boey has impressed at the Turkish club and could be a good long-term investment for the Premier League club. He has already played in the yellow-red jersey this season, and is expected to sign a new contract soon.

Although he is not in the same class as Trent Alexander-Arnold, he is still a good defender. And Jurgen Klopp is keen to strengthen the right-back position.

Benfica centre-back

Sofyan Amrabat has been linked with Liverpool on numerous occasions. The Moroccan international has impressed for his country at the World Cup, and Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign him.

There are a number of clubs interested in signing Amrabat, including Chelsea and Tottenham. However, it is thought that Liverpool are the most likely destination for the 23-year-old.

The France international has been a key part of Morocco’s World Cup campaign, and he has also made his mark at the 2022 tournament. His performance against Spain in the last 16 proved to be an eye-opener.

Despite being an international, Amrabat has yet to score in 46 caps for his country. He also has a poor history with injuries.

But a report from the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Liverpool are seriously considering signing Amrabat. According to the paper, the player would be an ideal fit for Jurgen Klopp.

Mo Salah

Liverpool could be set to lose star forward Mo Salah to rivals this summer. After an incredible performance in his first season with the club, he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid or Camp Nou. However, with his contract coming to an end next summer, it is unclear whether he will remain at Anfield.

Although Salah has said that he will remain at Liverpool, he may choose to leave the club on a free transfer next summer. Meanwhile, Manchester City and Chelsea are both interested in signing him.

There are reports that Liverpool are serious about selling the Egyptian. The club are keen to earn a decent fee this summer. They are also prepared to play hardball.

While Salah is not asking for crazy things, he does want to be paid like the best players in the Premier League. Besides, he has won the Golden Boot last season.

Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino is in the final year of his contract at Liverpool and has been linked with a number of clubs. He is valued as a player of immense quality and is considered to be one of the best players in the world. His form this season has led him to become integral to Liverpool’s success.

However, Liverpool have been warned against selling their star player. Rivaldo, the Brazilian midfielder, has encouraged him to stay at Anfield.

It is not surprising that Liverpool have been linked with a number of players over the years. They have been seeking an attacking player who can help them rebuild around Firmino.

But if Firmino leaves, will Liverpool replace him? After all, he has played an important role in Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp.
