Hi, I want to ask few questions regarding E-visa WHEN DOES 30 DAYS INDIAN EVISA EXPIRE as it makes me bit confuse.
I’ll be travelling to India on 9th November and depart from India on 17th November. I applied for E-Visa Double Entry with 30 days Validity on 16th October and I got my visa granted on 17th Oct. But then, it stated :
Date of issue of ETA :- 17/OCT/2019
Date of expiry of ETA :- 15/NOV/2019
e-Tourist Visa Validity period is 30 days from the date of first arrival in India.
The expired date of my E-visa will be on 15th Nov 2019, which is 2 days before my departure from India.
I am confuse with the meaning of the expire date and the validity.
1. Does it means, I have to depart from India by or before 15th Nov? If I depart on 17th Nov, does it means I am overstayed?
2. Or does it means, I can enter India until 15th Nov and the expiry date is for entry only? And I can stay in India until my departure day without worry?

Hi Masyita,
You don’t need to worry. Your No. 2 question is correct. The date of expiry (15th November) is simply the last date that you can enter INDIAN VISA FOR NETHERLANDS CITIZENS for the first time. Since you’ll be flying in on the 9th November, you’re within the issue and expiry dates.

Hello I have just seen your post and wondered if you can help me. I have applied for a 30 day evisa The date of issue is 27 dec 2020 and the date of expiry is 25 january. I travel 23 jan and arrive in india on 24th of january but do not leave until 11 february. will i be ok on this visa ? thankyou

Yes you will be ok provided you arrive before midnight on 25 January. On arrival you will be issued with e-Visa valid for 30 days.

I have recently applied for a 30 day E-visa.
My application was submitted 31st January, I fly to India on the 29th February.
I’m worried that the expiry date on the visa will expire before I arrive…
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Wait until your Electronic Travel Authority is approved so you can be certain of the valid dates.

*IF* your 30 days ETA is invalid, then you should apply for a 12 months or 5 years e-TouristVisa instead.

Hallo,
Can anyone help me when is the e-visa to India is valid whether is date on Arrival or ETA date of issue as i am travelling to India on 22 feb-9 march.My e-visa for 30 days was issued from ETA:5 FEB Expiry date is 5 march 2020.I am totally confused when its e-visa valid.Pls help me
